The competition is held on June 24th 2023 in Saarbruecken, Germany
Program
- 07:30 to 09:00 Registration and Weighing

- 10:30 Kata Competition Competition (10-11 years to 12-13 years) and youth (14-15 years)

Participants
- Any amount of athletes or members of Kyokushin Karate teams and of any sports organizations (federations, associations, clubs etc.) is able to take part in the open competition, but the organization has the right to reject an application for the competition. The participants have to submit the following documents to the credentials committee:
- an application form for via web page www.alliance-kumite.net
- birth certificate or passport
- an application form with permission to take part in the competition signed by parents. Annex 1/ personal application form for participation in the competition for adults (see Annex 2)
- disclaimer Form (Annex 3)
- insurance policy
- Each team goes through a credentials committee with the obligatory presence of all its athletes and a coach-representative.
- Participants compete wearing white dogi uniform (registered members of WKB don’t have any stamps related to other organizations on their dogi) and personal protective gear (in Kumite section) according to the current rules of Kyokushin Karate WKB in Germany. Personal protective gear for:
- underaged participants:
- boys: headgear, shin and foot protection, groin protection, hands protection
- girls: headgear, shin and foot protection, groin protection, hands protection, chest protector not covering solar plexus
- adult participants:
- Male: groin protection.
- Female: groin protection, chest protection not covering the solar plexus.
- Seniors (male and female): shin and foot protection, groin protection, hands protection, chest protector not covering solar plexus (only female)
- underaged participants:
Rules of the competition
- Kumite competitions will be held according to the rules of Kyokushin Karate WKB International Organization and according to the Olympic System.
- Team structure: any number of participants in each weight category, 2 judges, 1 representative are required.
- Weight categories:
- Boys U11: -30; -35; -40; -50; +50
- Boys U13: -40; -45; -50; -55; -60; +60
- Cadetes U15: -50; -55; -60; -65; -70; +70
- Juniors U17: -60; -65; -70; -75; -80; +80
- Girls U11: -30; -35; +35
- Girls U13: -35; -40; +40
- Cadetes girls U15: -45; -50; -55; +55
- Juniors girls U17: -50; -55; -60; +60

- Male U40: -65; -70; -75; -80; -85; -90; +90
- Male U40+: -80; +80
- Female U35: -55; -60; -65; +65
- Female U35+: -65; +65
Matches sequences and time limits
- U11: 1’30”min + 1’30” min + weighing + 1’30”min (weight difference – 3 kg)
- U13-U17-17: 2’00” min + 2’00” min + weighing + 2’00” min (weight difference – 3 kg)

- Qualifying matches: 2’00” min + 2’00” min + weighing + 2’00” min
- Semi-final matches: 3’00” min + 2’00” min + weighing + 2’00” min
- Final matches: 3’00” min + 2’00” min + tameshiwari + weighing + 2’00” min (weight difference – 3 kg, absolute category – 10 kg)
- Seniors: 2’00” min + 2’00” min + weighing + 2’00” min. (weight difference seniors – 3 kg, absolute category – 10 kg)

- U11:
- Qualifying competition, 1st round: Taikyoku Sono San
- Qualifying competition, 2nd round (8 athletes): any Kata to choose from: Pinan sono san, Pinan sono yon
- Final competition, 3rd round (4 athletes): Any Kata to choose from the 2nd round which has not been performed yet
- U13:
- Qualifying competition, 1st round: Pinan Sono Ni
- Qualifying competition, 2nd round (8 athletes): Any Kata to choose from: Pinan sono yon, Pinan sono go
- Final competition, 3rd round (4 athletes): Any Kata to choose from the 2nd round which has not been performed yet
- U15:
- Qualifying competition, 1st round: Pinan Sono Go
- Qualifying competition, 2nd round (8 athletes): Any Kata to choose from: Gekisai dai, Tsuki no kata
- Final competition, 3rd round (4 athletes): Any Kata to choose from the 2nd round which has not been performed yet
- U17:
- Qualifying competition, 1st round: Tsuki no Kata
- Qualifying competition, 2nd round (8 athletes): Any kata to choose from: Gekisai sho, Saiha
- Final competition, 3rd round (4 athletes): Any Kata to choose from the 2nd round which has not been performed yet
- U18+:
- Qualifying competition, 1st round: Gekisai Sho
- Qualifying competition, 2nd round (8 athletes): Any Kata to choose from: Garyu, Seienchin, Seipai, Kanku, Sushiho
- Final competition, 3rd round (4 athletes): Any Kata to choose from the 2nd round which has not been performed yet
In case of insufficient number of members according to the submitted applications, the organizing committee may make the following changes to the regulations of the competitions:
- to combine some of the weight categories
- to hold competitions in a circular manner for certain weight categories
Conditions for holding the competition
The competition will be held according to the present rules of Kyokushin Karate WKB in Germany.
Awarding
Athletes who took 1-3 places are awarded with cups, diplomas and medals of the appropriate degrees
